Students

Student placements are for individuals who are required by their college or university to complete a certain number of hours in their field of study in order to graduate.

ONLS is committed to providing meaningful learning opportunities to students enrolled in Human Services as well as other college or university-based professional programs such as social work and counselling.

Over the years, we’ve benefited from having students working at ONLS in a variety of capacities and welcomed the exchange of learning that occurs between students and staff. We have a proud history of mentoring the next generation of community and human service professionals.

Unless otherwise specified, all placements are unpaid. Please note that some programs will provide student placements for Youth and other Adult settings. Even if your program is not listed in the table above, you may be able to complete a placement with ONLS as long as your program meets our eligibility requirements.

Note: This application process is not for volunteer placements. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator if you seek to make a contribution/gain experience, but not as part of an academic or college requirement.
